"LIFE IS A STAGE" is an artistic reflection on the essential values of human life illustrated with the greatest musical hits. Love, passion, jealousy, despair, and desire to achieve success are feelings described in the great stage productions of world music such as, "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "Grease", "Hair", "Cabaret", "Chicago", "Cats", "Fame "and" Dream Girls". The songs from these performances are a spectacle which reveals that the greatest works of art are always a reflection of our humanity, a description of real life. The prodigious production is realized with new staging and the more than 30-person ensemble of the Sabat Theatre (actors, singers, dancers) participating in the spectacle. A variety of over 300 impressive costumes have been prepared. The musical program has been specially arranged for the performance from recordings of over 40 songs illustrating musical dancing scenes. The technical equipment of the theater has been augmented with a number of new technological advances that allow for special multimedia projections, this being an integral part of the stage scenery.
The creator of the script, costume designer and director of the show is Małgorzata Potocka - founder and director of the Sabat Theatre.
